CMIT elects its new Board and its president Maud Samagalski


The CMIT (club of in tech marketers), announces the election of its new board and of Maud Samagalski, Digital Marketing Director, EMEA at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as President. She replaces Jean-Denis Garo, Head of Marketing at Golem.ai, President since 2018.


«The rise of digital calls for a constant evolution of marketing, especially within the technology industry. That’s why CMIT, an independent club, offers its members a continuous progression in their knowledge alongside with the discovery of best practices. Attached to this identity, as well as to the values of responsible marketing, the new board will be committed to analyze and understand the latest innovations in the industry” explains Maud Samagalski.


Maud led the channel division and then marketing for HP enterprise and HPE when the company was spun off. Previously, she was Marketing and Communications Director for IBM Global Services France, after holding various sales positions for the group. Since 2020, she has been Marketing and Digital Director, EMEA at Hewlett Packard. A graduate of GEM Grenoble, she is also a member of juries and a mentor in startup committees.

To support her in her mission, three directors have been elected to join the board:

  • Estelle Frocrain, Marketing Director for Southern Europe, Nordic countries and France at Veritas Technologies, becomes Secretary General.
  • Etienne Maraval, Marketing Director for France, Southern Europe, Africa and Middle East for Lexmark, becomes Treasurer.
  • Aurélien Gohier, Senior Digital Manager Western Europe for Dassault Systèmes, is elected Vice President.


This election follows the renewal of the Board of Directors on March 8. It brings together 15 representatives of companies of all sizes from the tech world (Publishers, Manufacturers, Integrators, ESN…) including Avaya, Dassault Systèmes, Digora, Eplan, Golem.ai, HPE, ITESOFT, Lexmark, Oracle, Prodware, RingCentral, Spie and Veritas.

Faithful to the Club’s vocation of enriching and promoting the Marketing & Communication functions of the IT sector in France, this new board will pilot with the members of the Board of Directors the missions of the CMIT:


  • The progression and the continuous training of the members and their teams, professionally and personally
  • The sharing and exchange of knowledge and best practices
  • The development of its members’ network


The board presents a perfect parity which is one of the values carried by CMIT in order to promote the place of women in the world of new technologies.
